After the the CEO of Dentsu International, Wendy Clark, said goodbye to the Japanese advertising holding company through a post on her Instagram account, following various rumors of her departure . Now Dentsu is renewing its structure and in the future all the group’s activities will be under one roof. Until now the company organized all activities outside Japan under the division headed by Clark. With this restructuring, Dentsu International is expected to cease operations with the objective of creating a single business unit with a joint management team, which is divided into four regions.

Commenting on Clark ‘s departure category email list after two years in the role, company CEO Hiroshi Igarashi said: “We are deeply grateful to Wendy for the important contribution she has made in helping Dentsu Group and Dentsu International restore performance and establish a solid foundation for the future. Dentsu has around 67,000 employees , the company does not consider a staff reduction exercise in the restructuring plan, as happened in 2020 when they reduced 12.5% of their workforce. Dentsu is one of the largest advertising agency networks in the world in terms of global revenue.
The restructuring seeks to unify the group's activities
The objective of the holding company is to globally integrate CU Lists each of its corporate functions , in areas such as finance, human resources and communications, to build a common management platform. As they point out in a statement. The company highlights that it will soon provide more detailed information on its new global management structure, including leadership changes, but indicates that it “will comprise a culturally diverse group of leaders.” According to Campaign , under Clark’s leadership, Dentsu International reported 8.4% organic revenue growth in the first six months of 2022, following a 9.7% increase for all of 2021.
